Since 1968, the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Queen Program has thrived solely on volunteers and donations. We invite you to become a part of this tradition in one of the many ways as a sponsor or donor.

The Queen Program is under Sakura Matsuri Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making your donation tax deductible. Below is a description of the sponsorship opportunities.  

Candidate Sponsorship

This monetary contribution will go directly to the Queen Program’s fund which will assist the court with their expenses throughout the year. Some expenses include traveling to visit sister city courts, providing omiyage gifts, and purchasing kimono accessories.

Corporate Sponsorship 

This monetary contribution will go directly to the Queen Program’s fund which will assist the court with their expenses throughout the year, pay for Program Night production costs, and other expenses that may occur throughout the year.

Gift Donations

Raffle Prize – On program night, these gifts will be given to the raffle winner. All proceeds from the raffle will help cover the court’s travel expenses throughout their year. Examples: Gift certificates, Gift baskets, travel vouchers, etc.

Court Gift – On program night, these gifts will be presented on stage to the newly crowned court. These gifts will be used by the court  throughout their busy year. Examples: Evening gowns, professional attire, travel bags, etc.

Omiyage – Omiyage is the Japanese tradition of gift giving when traveling. The court will travel to Los Angeles, Hawai’i, and Japan over the course of a year. Your donations will gifted to sister city court members, community members, and other sponsors by the court. Examples: T-shirts, gift cards, snacks, stationary, accessories, etc.
