2008 Northern California Cherry Blossom Court
In an effort to remain connected with the Japanese American community and to give insight to the general public of this cultural leadership program, the members of the 2008 Northern California Cherry Blossom Queen Court have launched this blog site. Queen Alicia Kagawa, First Princess Miwa Natsuki, Princess and Tomodachi Award Recipient Rie Watanabe, Princess Asuka Nagase and Princess Midori Iwata welcome you to share in our year-long cultural heritage experience of community service and leadership. We hope this site can adequately express our gratitude to the many memorable opportunities this program has given us. June 21, 2008: The Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC)’s 4th Annual Japantown Asian/Pacific Islander Craft Fair and Island Jam

Good food, island music and entertainment, and warm weather! We had a fun and relaxing afternoon volunteering at the JCYC Island Jam children’s booths.
